Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

This role will provide strategic and financial leadership to the Auto and Oil & Gas industry teams, supporting a portfolio of clients and independent dealers.  This role will partner with the General Managers and Relationship Managers in developing growth strategies and managing key aspects of the programs to drive profitability.  This role works cross-functionally inside the organization (marketing, credit, and enterprise operations) as well as having direct interactions with the clients.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide Finance leadership to the Sales and cross-functional teams in delivering financial commitments including driving and delivering a multi-product strategy

  • Provide financial leadership including ensuring the development of key processes and financial analytics over the portfolio

  • Work with cross-functional team including Pricing COE in developing new client and renewal economics and ensure all material risks and compensating mitigants are disclosed

  • Key cross-functional member working with marketing on investment analysis and returns, marketing fund analysis and expenditures; work with credit on segment profitability and determine the financial implications of credit actions; work with enterprise operations on cost drivers and ability to drive productivity and analyze investments; work with analytics on product and promotional strategy; and work with enterprise credit on risk mitigation.

  • Financial leader in client discussions

  • Support growth initiatives, evaluate investment decisions and influence strategy to ensure business profitability

  • Supports business forecast, financial reporting and analysis, including support to FP&A, IR, and Lending leadership team

  • Forecast, communicate and account for retailer share arrangements while proactively working with the clients and client teams to improve profitability

  • Provide key ad-hoc analysis

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of financial planning & analysis experience; or in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of 12 years of equivalent experience
  • Experience in financial modeling and use of Oracle / Hyperion Systems and databases

Desired Characteristics:

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook
  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Strong commercial skills and ability to interact with the client
  • Strong understanding of installment and revolving credit products

Grade/Level: 14

The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 – 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
