ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW:

FP&A – India is an organization of qualified Professionals focus on planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities that support a company's major business decisions and overall financial health.

ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

AVP, FP&A is responsible for managing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range/short range  financial planning for India Leal entity.  Analyze the financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth. This candidate also responsible for Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key drivers and variances in business performance. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan and execute the budget.

ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

FP&A -AVPr is responsible for managing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range/short range  financial planning for India Leal entity.  Analyze the financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth. This candidate also responsible for Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key drivers and variances in business performance. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan and execute the budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement  the forecast process in conjunction with key stakeholders and the delivery of annual budgets, quarterly guidance, and monthly and weekly forecasts as well as related financial planning & analysis.

  • Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions.

  • Performing analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast.

  • Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions.

  • Working with the other financial professionals across the Company  and enhance the understanding and critical levers of the Synchrony business

  • Develop insights on business performance and trends, including use of KPIs  and provide financial analysis & commentary on month-end financials & KPIs.

  • Performing cost / benefit analysis and Preparation of ad-hoc reports as per business / function’s request.

  •  Preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting and Supporting audits.

  • Optimize own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.

  • Identify areas for process / report standardization across different functions/Business Units.

  • Implement and support the ERP/Cloud Migration projected related works as required.

  • Operationalize new/additional reporting framework to ensure compliance with Bilateral Advance Pricing Agreement ( Tax Agreement)

  • Tracking and reporting  for major initiatives, involving senior stakeholders and other leaders.

  • Maintain proper audit trail and documentation for future tax / internal / external audits and reviews and Maintain SOPs for all activities performed.

  • Undertake additional planning and budgeting activities as required

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Qualified CA or ICWA or ACCA or MBA

  • Good communication skills and Fluent in English.

  • Proficiency in reporting and Visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau etc.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

CA/ICWA/MBA/ACCA with 5 to 8 years of experience to Include mandatory 3 Years of experience  in FP&A.

WORK TIMINGS:

This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 01:00 PM IST  – 10:00 PM IST . Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs. Please discuss this with the hiring manager for more details. The position is remote, where you have the option to work from home.
