Business Leadership Program Overview:
Synchrony’s Business Leadership Program (Full-Time) is a two-year, three-rotation experience that will help you develop the skills needed to accelerate your career. You’ll gain deep expertise in one of our 10 Tracks, taking on three unique roles to explore different areas of your chosen function. During the two years, you will also engage in a collection of immersive experiences designed to deepen your business knowledge, drive cross-functional exposure, broaden your network, and pay it forward within your community.
The program provides successful graduates with the strong foundation of skills and experiences they need to grow their careers and position themselves for future leadership roles.
Risk Management Full-Time BLP Experience: What You would Accomplish
This internship is designed for students who are seeking a role with challenging and stimulating career opportunities in Risk Management. The Risk Management team conducts an independent evaluation of Synchrony’s risks by setting the company's risk limits and ensuring that operations remain within those parameters. We are committed to the thorough identification, measurement, monitoring, and control of all pertinent risks associated with our business activities with the ultimate goal of creating safe and enjoyable banking experience for our customers.
Throughout the Risk Management BLP Internship, you will have the chance to interact with multiple business functions, in addition to the specific Risk functions outlined below. In this role, you will encourage teams to develop a thorough understanding of their associated risks, like –
• Credit Risk
• Enterprise Risk
• Operational Risk, including Model Risk
• Compliance
• Strategic Risk
• Model Market and Liquidity Risk
You will closely collaborate with our experts in the field to acquire essential practical experience to mitigate and manage risk, and maintain transparency with management, clients, regulators and shareholders. It is you who will help build critical capabilities that allow the firm to manage its risks more effectively and efficiently in the dynamic risk landscape and thereby learn and grow in your career.

Basic Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline like Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.
- Academic record – 7 CGPA

Work Timings:
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will
require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
