The Performance Marketing Team is the engine behind business growth as it handles the majority of marketing activities. This includes targeting the right audience through campaigns, distributing content via channel marketing, conducting a thorough analysis of campaign launches and budgets, and also ensuring compliance via surveillance and governance all to maximize results and maintain a competitive edge. Role Summary/Purpose:
Synchrony is continuing to build a world class Performance Media and Creative Organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within this organization, our Ad Operations Team is focused on achieving growth by making data-driven decisions to create meaningful interactions with existing and potential customers by focusing on capturing business requirements and ensuring flawless execution of digital campaigns on property & off property. We are seeking a Manager, Ad Operations rolling up to Synchrony, India, Hyderabad to lead efforts in ensuring delivery of marketing operational excellence, supporting business partners across the Synchrony enterprise. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and pushing adoption of paid media operational processes, with a focus on marketing site tagging, supporting both client & server-side tracking.
Essential Responsibilities:

Work with Account Management, Client Marketers, Channel, and Analytics teams to ensure sites, apps, and landing pages have correct tagging deployed and that tracking architecture will result in the correct level of detail for post campaign analysis.

Implement, maintain, and evolve tracking tags/pixels/APIs (such as, Floodlights, Meta, Pinterest, GA4, etc.), including custom variables, for advanced reporting, optimization, and personalization across websites and apps using a tag management system (i.e., Tealium).

Thoroughly test and validate the accuracy of tag deployment using debugging tools (e.g., Developer Tools, Omnibug, BrowserStack) to ensure proper firing and data capture.

Perform A/B testing on tags and pixels to determine optimal setups for performance tracking.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to tag firing, tracking gaps, and reporting discrepancies across digital platforms, and work with Channel teams, Client teams, media vendors, and ad tech platforms to troubleshoot media tracking when necessary.

Execute quality assurance (QA) across client websites pre and post campaign launches and/or website changes to ensure flawless digital execution and to confirm compliance with regulatory needs.

Manage sprint capacity, review technical requirements, and assign tasks

Maintain detailed & organized technical documentation for tracking implementations, updates and audits

Ability to train others (technical and non-technical) on materials related to your role.

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Experience in computer science, Information Services, Information Technology or in lieu of a degree 4+ Years of Experience in Marketing

Must have experience implementing client-side and server-side within tag management systems (Tealium, Google Tag Manager, and other tag management systems) to execute and troubleshoot tagging across marketing sites at an agency or brand.

Experienced with implementing, troubleshooting, and validating API Connectors and/or Webhooks.

Excellent understanding of JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, JSON, and DOM manipulation, strong tag management skills, solid debugging and troubleshooting skills, strong understanding of marketing technology (Martech) landscape, experience leveraging APIs for server-to-server tagging.

Hands on experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence for technical documentation.
Desired Characteristics:

Solid knowledge in ad operations media landscape, specifically around site tagging framework.

Organized with the ability to juggle competing demands and effectively prioritize tasks

Able to communicate and train on technical topics to internal stakeholders and/or clients.

Experience working in an Agile project management framework.

Hands on experience with project management software, like MS Project and AtTask/Workfront is a plus.

Experience with Tealium’s server-side solution, Event Stream, is a plus.

Experience with Postman or other API based tools/platforms is a plus.
Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Experience in computer science, Information Services, Information Technology or in lieu of a degree 4+ Years of Experience.

2+ Years of experience in BFSI sector or Media agency
